Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering college is known for its excellence in academics and co-curricular activites as well as our involvement in many social organizations. It's efforts are directed providing holistic education that encourages critical and independent thinking. The management strives constantly to develop this institution into a "Centre of excellence", imparting technical skills to young minds & bestow high ethical values.
Prof.K.R Sundararajan, an eminent educationist of South India, established Indian Institute of Engineering Technology (IIET) in the year 1947. In those days there were only a few Engineering Colleges and young aspirants could not find opportunities to become Engineers. Prof.K.R.S played a key role in igniting their inner rocket of becoming an Engineer. Later, he established Meenakshi College for Women in the year 1974. By fulfilling Prof.K.R.S’s dream, in July 2001, a full fledged Engineering College was started for imparting quality education to all walks of people.
Dr.K.S.Babai , our secretary has been a light in guiding us in the right path. She has always been an idol to all accomplished women. She has been a great supporter and never fails to inspire us with her perseverance and willpower.
PRANAV 2k23 is a symposium organised by the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College. The Theme for PRANAV 2k23 is "Education to all". As Nelson Mandela once quoted "It is not beyond our power to create a world in which all children have access to good education". We have emphasized this theme to spread awareness among our young minds.
